Accessible Learning Solutions founder and owner, Sarah Tennant, has a passion for providing quality educational support to students of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of socioeconomic status, while also providing fair wages for the expertise of teachers. With the literacy crisis in our country and around the world, providing the necessary and needed tutoring services to all struggling students is ever needed. Our solutions can make that happen.
Each client will be matched with the tutor that best suits each of their needs.
Our tutors screen and assess each client in order to tailor each session to individual needs. Ongoing assessment will help the tutor track progress and adjust the trajectory of the tutoring sessions as needed.
As we aim to provide educational support for all, we have unique options for our clients' families, as well as individuals who want to support our mission.
For our clients:
1. Purchase sessions for your own child/student at regular price
2. Buy One, Donate One: Buy a session for your child/student, and purchase a session for a family in need*
3. Request a scholarship for donated sessions
For other generous supporters:
1. Adopt-a-Student: Purchase sessions for a family in need*
2. Make a Donation: These funds will be used to either cover sessions for a family in need or to purchase resources and supplies *
*Currently running a fundraiser if you would like to make a one time donation here: https://gofund.me/071d0205
*Please note: At this time, Accessible Learning Solutions is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and not a non-profit (501c3). Our hope is to eventually turn in to a non-profit so that your generous donations allow you a tax deduction benefit.
Sarah is the founder and owner of Accessible Learning Solutions . With a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Master's Degree in Teacher as Leader with a focus in Special Education from the University of Dayton, Sarah went on to complete 64 hours of Orton Gillingham training as well as the 50 hour supervised practicum with an OG fellow. After years of teaching and tutoring, Sarah began taking courses to obtain her Reading Endorsement and delving into the body of research known as the Science of Reading. This vast knowledge and research sparked an even deeper passion to provide quality literacy support to all students in need as we work together to put quality literacy instruction into the hands of ALL learners.
